How can we help?

Select this option if your blood pressure reading was above the normal range.

What happens next?

You’ll be offered our Remote Pressure Monitoring Service to confirm whether you have sustained high blood pressure, and to help guide any further treatment or management.

Recommended if your ECG report shows red or amber flags. Depending on the specific findings, your clinician may recommend one of the following:

1. 24-hour Ambulatory ECG Monitoring (Holter)

This is a wearable device that records your heart rhythm continuously for 24 hours. It may be recommended if your ECG shows signs of:

  • Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation - AF that comes and goes
  • Frequent ectopic beats (extra heartbeats)
  • Unexplained pauses or slow heart rate
  • Suspected arrhythmias causing symptoms like palpitations, dizziness, or fainting

2. Echocardiogram (Echo)

This is an ultrasound scan of the heart to assess its structure and function. It may be recommended if your ECG shows:

  • Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) (thickening of the heart muscle)
  • Bundle branch block (a delay in electrical conduction)
  • ST segment or T wave changes – which may suggest reduced blood flow
  • Abnormal Q waves (possibly indicating a previous heart attack)
  • Axis deviation (which may point to underlying structural changes)
  • Low voltage or poor R wave progression (can be linked to cardiomyopathy)

Not sure what your ECG result means?

If your ECG is abnormal and you're unsure whether you need further testing or a consultation, the One Heart Clinic clinical team is available to discuss your results and guide you to the most appropriate next step.

Tick this option to speak to a cardiologist for a comprehensive review and personalised recommendations, including if your Lipid Profile, Lipoprotein A, PLAC or NT-proNP blood results have red or amber flags.
